CosmePay provides dedicated online payment portals for treatment and accommodation payments connected with approved providers in Türkiye.
Each portal is tailored to the individual arrangement and can be provided either to the partner agency or directly to the patient, depending on who will be managing the payments.
Through the portal, users can view their available balance, see approved beneficiaries and payments, instruct payments, monitor payment status and review transaction history and payment confirmations.
This provides one clear and organised place to manage the payments connected with a patient’s treatment and accommodation arrangements.
Not every agency manages its patients’ payments in the same way.
Some agencies prefer their patients to manage their own treatment and accommodation payments directly. Others prefer to coordinate payments on behalf of their patients. CosmePay can support either approach.
Where the patient is managing the payments, we provide the patient with their own dedicated portal. Where the agency is managing the payments, we provide the agency with a portal through which it can manage payment activity across its relevant patients.
The underlying principle remains the same: payments can only be made to the surgeons, clinics, hospitals and accommodation providers approved for the arrangement.
Where the portal is provided directly to the patient, the patient can see the funds available for their approved arrangements and manage their treatment and accommodation payments from one place.
The portal shows the approved provider, the amount and currency due and the current status of the payment. The patient can submit a payment instruction and subsequently see when that payment is being processed and when it has been completed.
Completed transactions and payment confirmations are retained within the portal, giving the patient a clear record of the payments connected with their arrangements.
The patient can only see and pay providers that have already been approved for their particular treatment or accommodation arrangements.
Where an agency prefers to manage payments for its patients, CosmePay can provide the portal directly to the partner agency.
The agency can view the patients allocated to it, see the relevant available balances, view approved surgeons, clinics, hospitals and accommodation providers and submit payment instructions against the appropriate patient arrangement.
The agency can also monitor the progress of payments and review completed transaction history and payment confirmations.
This gives the agency a single place from which to manage payment activity across multiple patients without having to coordinate individual international payments separately through its normal bank.
The CosmePay portal is designed to provide a controlled way of instructing and managing payments.
When a patient or agency submits an instruction through the portal, that instruction is received by CosmePay for processing. The portal itself is not connected directly to a bank account and does not automatically release money.
CosmePay reviews the instruction and arranges the payment through the appropriate banking or payment channel before updating the payment status within the portal.
This approach allows CosmePay to retain control of the approved beneficiary details and helps reduce the risk of payments being diverted to an unauthorised or incorrectly changed bank account.
The CosmePay portal is not a general-purpose money-transfer facility.
Payments are restricted to the surgeons, clinics, hospitals and accommodation providers approved for the relevant patient or agency arrangement.
Users cannot add their own unrelated beneficiaries or use the portal to send money to other individuals or businesses.
Where a new treatment or accommodation provider needs to be added, its details must first be provided to and approved by CosmePay before a payment can be instructed.
The portal is designed to make it easy to understand what funds are available, who needs to be paid and what has already happened.
Users can see their available balance, payments due, the relevant beneficiary, payment amounts and currencies, current payment status and a history of completed transactions.
Payment confirmations can also be made available through the portal, providing a convenient record for both the agency and the patient.
CosmePay works alongside its partner agencies rather than seeking to replace them.
Providing a patient with a CosmePay portal does not change the relationship between the patient and the agency. The agency retains its patient relationship, branding, pricing and existing commercial arrangements.
Similarly, an agency does not need to replace its existing surgeons, clinics, hospitals or accommodation providers in order to use the CosmePay portal.
Existing providers can be added to the approved payment arrangement once the appropriate information and payment details have been checked.
Portal access can be provided either to a partner agency or directly to the patient, depending on the individual arrangement.
Where the patient manages the payments, they receive access to their own dedicated portal and can only see information relevant to their arrangements.
Where the agency manages the payments, it receives access to the patients and approved providers allocated to that agency.
An agency cannot see another agency’s patients or payment information, and a patient cannot see information relating to another patient.
The portals are for approved treatment and accommodation payments only.
They are not intended to function as general payment accounts, e-wallets or unrestricted transfer services. Access is limited to the relevant users and approved providers connected with the service.
CosmePay does not provide medical advice through the portals and does not determine clinical issues, treatment complaints or refund disputes.
The patient portal allows a patient to:

The agency portal allows an approved partner agency to:
